C110 Copper
C110 is a high-purity Electrolytic Tough Pitch (ETP) copper, typically containing more than 99.9% copper. It is known for its excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, ductility, and corrosion resistance, making it one of the most widely used copper grades for electrical and electronic applications.
Appearance & Properties
Color: Reddish copper to reddish-brown
Density: Approx. 8.9 g/cm³
Electrical Conductivity: Excellent, approx. 100% IACS
Thermal Conductivity: Excellent
Corrosion Resistance: Good
Machinability: Moderate to difficult
Weldability: Good
Ductility: Excellent
Magnetism: Non-magnetic
Surface Finishes: Polishing, nickel plating, tin plating, silver plating, passivation, etc.
Typical Applications
C110 Copper is widely used in electrical power, electronics, semiconductors, new energy, automotive, electrical equipment, and industrial thermal-management systems.
Typical parts include busbars, electrical terminals, electrodes, connectors, heat-dissipation components, electrical contacts, conductive fittings, and high-thermal-conductivity precision CNC parts.
Advantages
• Excellent electrical conductivity
• Excellent thermal conductivity
• Good corrosion resistance
• Excellent ductility and formability
• Ideal for electrical and heat-transfer components
Limitations
• Relatively low strength and hardness
• Tendency to adhere to cutting tools during CNC machining, requiring proper chip control
• Higher material cost than common aluminum alloys and carbon steels
• Not suitable for high-strength or high-wear structural components
