Inconel 625
Inconel 625 is a high-performance nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature strength, and fatigue resistance. It maintains strong mechanical performance in seawater, chemical environments, and elevated temperatures, making it suitable for critical aerospace, marine, and energy components.
Appearance & Properties
Color: Silver-gray to bright silver-gray
Density: Approx. 8.44 g/cm³
Tensile Strength: Typically ≥827 MPa in the annealed condition, depending on specification and condition
Corrosion Resistance: Excellent
High-Temperature Performance: Excellent
Machinability: Difficult
Fatigue Resistance: Excellent
Weldability: Good
Magnetism: Generally essentially non-magnetic
Surface Finishes: Blasting, polishing, passivation, grinding, PVD coating, etc.
Typical Applications
Inconel 625 is widely used in aerospace, marine and offshore, oil and gas, chemical processing, energy, and high-temperature industrial equipment.
Typical parts include engine components, exhaust-system parts, valves, pump components, marine fasteners, pipe fittings, heat-exchanger components, and high-temperature corrosion-resistant CNC parts.
Advantages
